Autism Spectrum Australia
Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is a not-for-profit organization committed to helping people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Aspect has an autism advisor program which assists families and carers of children (0-6 years) with an Autism Spectrum Disorder by linking them to the early intervention service provider panel and providing advice and information about community services. Aspect advisors can also provide parents with information about funding for children under 6. Aspect offers a free Autism Information Line for people with an ASD and their families. The Aspect Autism Information Line is staffed by professionals who can provide information about a range of services and resources.
The Raising Children Network website provides helpful information for Australian parents. The Raising Children website offers up-to-date research-based information about common difficulties in children (e.g. autism, ADHD, etc), as well as detailed information about development, behaviour, health, nutrition and fitness, play and learning, connecting and communicating, sleep, and safety. It covers newborns, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
